This post-qualifying diploma is designed for experienced counsellors and psychotherapists from a variety of theoretical backgrounds and specialisms who would like to develop the skills and knowledge to work therapeutically with 11- 18 year olds in a variety of settings and with a range of presenting issues. The course consists of experiential exercises, theoretical input, skills practice sessions, case studies and time for reflecting on one’s own practice. A placement is being offered as part of the course to run along side the training where students will be given clients and will receive supervision by very experienced and qualified clinical supervisors.
