I am an Accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Supervisor. I am a member of the National Counselling Society (MNCS) I adhere to their ethical framework.
I have worked in a verity of settings and currently alongside my private practice work for the charity, Herts Vision Loss as a Person-Centred Counsellor.
l offer a professional confidential supportive space for most issues including, anxiety, distress, grief and loss. This space you will find is a safe, quiet, non-judgemental environment where you will be given support to express emotions and feelings, at times more freely than with your family and friends, and where we can explore the issues that are of concern to you. This process will encourage you to gain new insights, increase awareness, self-esteem and new ways to move forward towards your goals.
I work with clients of all ages for long and short-term therapy.
If you are unfamiliar with counselling, it may feel quite daunting, I therefore encourage an initial consultation, so we can meet before any future decision is made. In this initial session you will have the opportunity to tell me what is distressing you and ask any questions that you may have. I will also explain more about how I work. If you would then like to arrange future sessions these would normally be on a weekly basis at an agreed time.
Counselling sessions are offered on a regular basis, normally once a week for 50 minutes. My fee is £50 per session.
I offer supervision to students and qualified counsellors.
MY approach is to support supervisees by working together in a safe mutually respectful way.
If you would like to discuss your supervision needs with me, please call or email for information.
