I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist [BSc. (Hons), PG Cert, PG Dip], accredited with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP). I have worked in Psychology delivering CBT since 2007 in a variety of settings and currently work in the NHS as a CBT Psychotherapist.
I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for a range of difficulties including; depression, low self-esteem, stress management, generalised anxiety disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), social anxiety, panic, agoraphobia, health anxiety and specific phobias. I have experience in working with a range of difficulties which are not exclusive to this list and I always aim to adapt treatment to my clients’ individual needs.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a collaborative and structured treatment which enables you to learn effective tools and techniques to manage difficulties and distressing emotions. By understanding how our thoughts and behaviours can influence how we feel, we can change our emotional response and improve our overall wellbeing.
Sessions are offered one to one and are focused on working towards your own personal goals in order to help manage the difficulties you are experiencing and to help improve your quality of life.
To book an appointment or to discuss any questions or concerns, please contact me via phone or email address provided. Should you decide that CBT is the right approach for you then we can arrange an assessment appointment where we can establish an understanding of your problems and to discuss how CBT could help you with your difficulties and work towards your goals.
