Hello, I am a Clinical Psychologist and EMDR therapist helping improve the well-being of those experiencing mental health difficulties.

I have spent six years studying psychology at university, three to obtain a BSc in Psychology and a further three to complete a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (ClinPsyD). This enabled me to register as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist (License 217436). I have completed additional training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT) and Mindfulness.

I offer individual psychological therapy to adults who find themselves struggling with their mental health and it will be adapted to your needs and goals based on the application of research evidence, theories and principles from psychology.

I aim to create a trustworthy, compassionate, hopeful and open environment where you will be listened to and we can work together.

I can work with people who feel distressed and unhappy and are not certain why and those experiencing one or more specific problems such as;

  • anxiety and stress, general anxiety disorder, depression, panic, relationship difficulties, abuse, bereavement and loss, abuse and specific phobias e.g. fear of flying
  • difficulties with low self-esteem, sleep, OCD, trauma, shyness and confidence

Please feel free to contact me and I can have a brief telephone discussion with you so we can gain an understanding of what you are going through and see whether I can help you or not. Alternatively, I can book an initial face-to-face consultation with you.

I am regulated by the Health & Care Professions Council (License PYL27364) and a member of the  British Psychological Society (BPS) and abide by their code of ethics
