I am an experienced and BACP-registered practitioner who has worked with a wide range of people and issues in the NHS, charity sector and in private practice. I help people explore, re-evaluate and seek new ways of dealing with challenging or distressing life experiences. I believe a lot of our difficulties can stem from what it means simply to be a human being in a complex and unpredictable world – and that it is understandable we feel the way we do.

I aim to provide a warm and collaborative space in which to explore these troubles and dilemmas – we will work together to develop fresh perspectives and new possibilities.

With a background in philosophy, I am trained in both psychodynamic and existential therapeutic approaches, and have previously worked in the fields of IT, web development, and fundraising. Having also lived and worked in several different parts of the world, my variety of life experience helps me to work well with people of diverse backgrounds. I have particular interest and experience in issues of meaning, loss, anxiety and identity.

Qualifications: MA Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling; Certificate in Counselling and Counselling Skills (psychodynamic); MA (Hons) Philosophy; MBACP (reg).
